This module is designed for the students to acquire the general understanding of the global current issues with specific references to development, environment and agriculture with an Asian comparative focus. The students will gain theoretical backgrounds as well as applications drawn from the actual events and data.
This course is based on class lectures and group discussions and/or group work. At the beginning of each lecture, each student has an opportunity to present the bioresource and bioenvironmental related topic that interest him/her followed by a class discussion.
